THE GOLDEN BOX

I thought it would be difficult to review an entire range of remedies, but it isn’t – because one of the most powerful aspects of the Beyond Medicine range is that each remedy, on its own, offers a subtle range of experiences and healing; but used collectively, their power is significantly magnified. Any owner of a full series of remedies in the beautiful “Golden Box” will feel equipped to experiment, combine, learn, and even ask for direct healing and support for a specific concern you want to address. This really is a case of the more the merrier – as I’ve used them, I’ve learned to trust myself to combine remedies intuitively, and often I simply ask for guidance before reaching out for the right bottle, or combination of remedies.

I’ll start with the Immortal Skin Balm, which I’ve been enjoying using for several months: luscious, deliciously fragrant, gentle and powerful, this remedy is perfect for personal care and makes a luxurious gift. My elderly mother finds it remarkable for treating her thinning skin. Indeed, it was the only remedy she found soothing while undergoing treatment for skin cancer, and its use speeded her recovery so much the specialist commented on her progress.

I love using it as an eye cream at night, which means I nearly always combine it with the Immortal Eyes remedy – still one of my favourites in the Beyond Medicine range. When I started using it, I immediately experienced a strange pulsing and ticking in my weaker eye, which persisted for about two weeks – not painfully, but enough to draw my attention to an eye that’s bothered me for some years. Now, over several months of use, I’ve found my vision has improved and I’m not nearly as light sensitive as I used to be. The left eye has settled, my vision has clarified, and even after hours at my computer I don’t feel eye strain or tiredness. A winner!

Liberation is an absolute winner in combination with Closure and my early favourite, Presence, balancing and expanding my sense of freedom from old wounds and my ability to move forward. I vary between Tranquility and Presence when I’m having an “off” period in which I don’t feel well or collected. I turn frequently to Tara when I invite comfort.
